Island Krk beaches have all the variety of beaches that is possible to find in Croatia.
Krk town beaches go from typical terraces to pebbles beaches to rocks and cliffs; these beaches are near to the city and offers a minimum of services (like showers, refreshment booths, toilets, rent a boat, diving centers...).

Somewhere else in the island it is possible to find cliffs vertically on the sea with interesting accesses to the sea, quite difficult to reach as, for example, on Malinska, or the unexpected beautiful pebbles beaches of Stara Baska (cars may be parked on the street and - with a steep path may be reached the beach).

According to us the right beaches for families with little children are those of Baska (pebbles beach and white sandy soundings), of Punat (pebbles beach with trees), and those of Krk (little artificial bays with degrading soundings).
The beaches of the island are usually quite different one from another, and, for this reason, deserve to be visited.
