The town Krk - main town of the island and biggest touristic/historical resort - has an equipped harbor where it is possible to rent daily little motor-ships, to find safe moorings for oneself ship, reserve package tours to other island and to the Croatian coasts. There are a lot of shops - from foodstuffs to souvenirs - pubs and restaurants where is possible to taste excellent typical dishes, wines and cheeses characteristic of the island, bank and chemist's shops, internet points.

We suggest a visit to the city, to the Venetian ramparts, to the Frankopan family's Castle - princes of Krk with properties in more than a half of Croatia. In summertime in Castle areas there are cultural manifestations (music, theatrical performances, art exhibitions...). On the hills over the city there are the St.Quirin's (XII century) Basilica and the Benedictine monastery and the Franciscan one.
